ONE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today marks the first anniversary of my liver surgery.  I just spent the last 20 minutes looking over ALL the posts from last year.  I apologize now, because I realized that there were SO MANY out there that I do not even remember seeing.  I am STILL overwhelmed at the number of PINK MONDAY pictures you all posted. I recall the night before when we had a gathering of friends at our house.  All of you there to show your support and Love.  I asked all of you to let me “borrow” a HUG.  I think I returned all of them.  If you think you are still owed a HUG.  Just ask and I will gladly return that HUG and again thank you for your friendship. I am beyond blessed with the family and friends I have.  I look back at all the support Deb and I received while I was recovering, and I cannot thank everyone enough.  The meal train that was organized by Jean Elliot was incredible.  We had people we barely knew who were coming by to provide us food.  I remember the people that shared the meals with us, the ones that invited us over, and the ones that took the time to make some special requests I had.  I am appreciative of all the people who came buy to chat with me while I was recovering.  The encouragement I received, while on my many recovery walks, kept my spirits up.  For my golfing friends, I am thankful that you put up with my slow moving, sometimes taking a hole off, sometimes wandering off mid round, just so I could sit down and rest.  It was appreciated.  For my Chicago friends, I remember the gathering we had, and AGAIN I was overwhelmed at the number of people who came out to check on my progress, and to share their love and support.  For those of you that helped out with all my Medical questions and issues, I would have been so lost (and miserable) without your wonderful advice.  I could spend the NEXT year trying to THANK all of you, and it would not be enough time to express my gratitude.  You are all such a wonderful group of FRIENDS!!!

My special thanks go out to Carol Hutchison, who was my guiding Angel in navigating the path it took from diagnosis to surgery.  I Love You and can NEVER thank you enough.

I am thankful that my Sisters, Debbie Royer and Traycie Nigoza came down to Florida to be with me on the day of surgery.  I needed to have my FAMILY there, and they were.

The BIGGEST thanks go out to Debbie Dreyer.  She was (and still is) a trooper.  She supported me and took care of me in all my whining requests.  I LOVE YOU Truly, Madly, Deeply!!!
